Athisya Foundation is committed to protecting donor and user information and ensuring transparency in the collection, use, and storage of personal data. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website or donation/payment platforms, including Razorpay and Cashfree.

We may collect the following information from donors and users:

• Name, email address, mobile number, and PAN details (where required for issuing tax benefit receipts under applicable Income Tax provisions)
  
  

• Donation amount, transaction ID, payment method, and date of donation
  
  

• Any additional details voluntarily provided by the donor
  
  

2. Purpose of Collection

Collected information is used solely for:

• Issuing official 80G donation receipts for tax deduction purposes
  
  

• Maintaining audit and statutory records as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961
  
  

• Communicating donation acknowledgments, receipt confirmations, updates, or information related to Foundation programs where applicable.
  
  

3. Data Sharing & Payment Processing

Personal information may be shared only with authorized payment service providers (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree) for:

• Processing donations
  
  

• Issuing payment confirmations
  
  

• Generating receipts, including 80G receipts

Athisya Foundation does not sell, rent, or trade donor information, and does not share personal data for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.

The Foundation implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data.
Donation records and digital documents are maintained using appropriate administrative and technical safeguards with restricted access. 

5. Donor Rights

Donors have the right to:

• Request access to their personal data
  
  

• Request correction or update of their information

Donations made via UPI (including Yes Bank QR) are processed using authorized payment systems. Personal information, including donor name and UPI ID (if provided), may be shared with the bank/payment service provider solely for processing the transaction and issuing receipts. 

All data is handled in accordance with applicable Indian laws.
